A month or two ago, Pierre hurt his leg. We are not sure how it happened exactly, but he ended up getting an infection behind his knee. The doctor had to cut open his leg, and we had weeks of many doctor appointments. It was not fun, especially for my dear husband who was in pain each time he visited the doctor. Luckily, they have drugs though. And as you can tell from the picture, we basically started our own pharmacy at home after all the different things they prescribed. About 2 months later, he still isn't healed all the way. Because of the infection, they didn't stitch up his leg, so he still has a hole on his leg. It is pretty cool to look at though. But he has survived and he now has some interesting stories to tell.
